Meeting with Professor Pray:

• Comments on technologies: Talk about function, size, power source, if it is capable to realize now. Need to compare to current technology. Need to take a better look at the project requirements

  • e.g. Boomer is used to find oil

• Mass implant compared to VR -> internal component gets powered? (bio-electrical energy)

  • To be add: Terminal, controller

• Privacy and the government:

  • Body cam on policies, on duty privacy

  • But in the show the soldiers have no privacy all the time (different from current)

  • Informational privacy: private company and privacy, we should transfer note from that section to government and privacy section

• Computing technology data – current capabilities, stage

  • We can use the previous data and then warn that the use of technology might possibly happen in real life, just like in the movie

• Next step:

  • Cather will work on adding details for technologies

  • Everyone works on finalizing chapter analyses to focus on computing technologies more than social aspects

  • Find computing technology data on, eg. VR (Emily), brain implant (Brian), DNA analysis, DNA marking (Talia), sense control, media propaganda (Cather), dream simulation (Cather), memory control (Cather)
